Deputy Prime Minister Lê Văn Thành on Tuesday highly praised ministries, branches, Dong Nai province and the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) for their efforts to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
The land clearance work has been accelerated when nearly 95% of the construction site in phase was handed over.
The Deputy Prime Minister asked relevant agencies to ensure the construction schedule to start the passenger terminal in October; and start the construction of the runways, taxiways, and aprons by December.
At the same time, the Ministry of Transport, Dong Nai province need to urgently work out a plan to deploy traffic routes and railway lines connecting Long Thanh Airport to Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria – Vung Tau, ensuring synchronization with the construction progress.
