The Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore has received information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade (Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion) regarding the organization of Vietnam Phở Festival 2025 in Singapore. The event details are as follows:
- Date: 18 – 19 October 2025
- Venue: Our Tampines Hub, 1 Tampines Walk, Singapore 528523
Main Activities:
- Festival Space: Showcasing and presenting Phở and Vietnamese cuisine.
- Exhibition Area: Displaying Vietnamese specialties, services, and cultural highlights.
- Business Networking (B2B): Meetings and exchanges between Vietnamese enterprises and importers in Singapore.
Vietnamese product Categories to be Promoted:
- Food and Processed Products: noodles, vermicelli, phở, flour, spices, tea, coffee, confectionery, dairy products, etc.
- Household and Consumer Goods: handicrafts, textiles, footwear, cosmetics, etc.
- Featured Products: key products of Ho Chi Minh City, OCOP products, signature agricultural produce, and regional specialties.
Introduction from the Organizers:
“Phở Day” is an annual event dedicated to honoring Vietnam’s iconic dish Phở and promoting the richness of Vietnamese culinary culture to international friends. Initiated by Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper in 2017, the program has received wide recognition and support from the public and visitors alike.
In 2023, “Phở Day” was first held abroad under the name Vietnam Phở Festival in Tokyo, Japan, marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam–Japan diplomatic relations. In 2024, the festival continued in Seoul, Korea, further strengthening people-to-people diplomacy as the two nations elevated their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Building on this success, Vietnam Phở Festival 2025 will be organized in Singapore with the collaboration of the Embassy of Vietnam in Singapore and the Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore. Leveraging Singapore’s strengths as a developed market, a global financial and trading hub, and a gateway to international supply chains, the event is expected to provide an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to promote their products, connect with Singaporean businesses, import-export partners, and consumers, thereby expanding their export markets.
