A Practical Alternative to Plastic Straws
Ecostraws are designed for use with a wide variety of beverages, including fruit juices, smoothies, milk tea, cocktails and other cold or hot drinks. Available in diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm and 13 mm, the straws can also be customized according to customers’ requirements.
According to the company’s product specifications, the straws can maintain their structure for approximately:
- 8–10 hours in cold drinks
- 6–8 hours at normal temperatures
- 2–4 hours in warm drinks
During use, the straws soften gradually without cracking or altering the taste of the beverage.
After use, the products can be treated as food waste, composted or used as animal feed, with natural degradation taking approximately three to six months under indoor or outdoor conditions.
The company’s catalogue also highlights international quality and food-safety references including SGS, FDA, LFGB, Halal and ISO 22000, together with a solar-powered production facility and environmentally focused manufacturing practices.
Production Capacity and International Experience
Ecostraws Vietnam has more than 100 employees and reports a production capacity of 10 or more 40-foot containers, depending on order lead time. Its products have already been exported to markets including France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United States and Australia, demonstrating experience in serving international customers.
For rice straws, the company’s standard minimum order quantity is 100,000 pieces, while product dimensions and specifications can be adjusted to meet customer requirements.
